When I first saw you, you had no name, you were skin and bones and you were scared and angry. Any logical person wouldn't have bought you, but I knew from the moment I set eyes on you, you were special. I brought you home with me and gave you a name, I gave you a field with as much grass as you could eat, and gave you the treatment and love you needed. And in turn you gave me your affection, respect and trust.
We started off shaky, but together we worked at it and we came on in leaps and bounds - Together, and I can't think of a horse I'd rather have done it with. You taught me all I know about a horse, how to talk your language, how to understand and communicate with you. And I cherished every moment. You saw me through some very hard times, I don't know what I'd have done without you. You meant the world to me, and I never wanted to let you go. If I could have been there to say goodbye, believe me, I would have. I would give anything to kiss your nose one last time. It's taken time for me to realise, but we can't live in regret, just with fond memories and love.
You made me the person I am today and you'll always be in my heart.
I love you Follie Feet, Rest In Peace.
