I miss you now, more than before.

Why when something's gone, do you want it more?

Life can be cruel, but it makes you strong, to deal with the pain of losing the one.

I know where you are can hold no fears, but our memories on earth still bring me to tears.

I thank you god, for lending me, the best horse that ever could be.

Each day I wake to think of you, your gentle whinnie still rings true.

I have your shoe hung above my bed, a constant reminder of the ground we tread.

I love you Mishka, more than the rest, our love and friendship did stand the test.

Despite the hardship you went through, to make you fight, we could not do.

And now you rest with god above, your heart so full of eternal love.

Although I know, I should have done more, please know your life, it was no chore.

For I am thankful for every while, we spent together, you made me smile.

And since that day, your life was through, I ask and pray one thing to you...

"Look after me my loving friend, please stay with me until my end.
One day I know, that we can be together again, just you and me."
