Old friends reunite in the crisp autumn sky.
Stars burning brightly, now side by side.
Our hearts here are heavy but we knew you must go
On the star trail to heaven, dear Coco and Mo.
 
You taught us great lessons of courage and strength.
Of friendship and beauty and of being ourselves.
With gentle reminders of how life should be.
Of living and dying with real dignity.
 
The gifts that you gave were too many to count and
We'll never forget you, of that there's no doubt.
When we look toward the heavens it's you we will see.
Bright eyes watching over us, so peacefully
 
Your time spent here with us was too short it seems
But you're here in our memories, you'll live on in our dreams.
Your pain is now over, you'll always run free
Racing over bright rainbows, in pastures so green.
