May 9, 1986 - January 9, 2007 My 21 year old Thoroughbred, "Teka", died today of illness related to Cushings Syndrome. I miss her terribly already and would like to send along a small poem I wrote for her when I knew she was destined to leave this world for a heaven where horses roam free. In Memory Of Teka This hand will never hurt you Nor cause you any pain Only bringing tenderness To hoof and tail and mane You are my best companion And on the day we part For all the times you've carried me I'll carry you in my heart With love, Sandy
