Tanner was one of the sweetest
horses I have ever owned. I called him my big dog. He did not have a mean
bone in his body. He was my friend and companion.
He was going to be my regular working Hunter and I had big plans for us,
but unfortunately Tanner was diagnosed with wobblers. He had it in the two
worst spots in the spine and nothing could have been done surgically or
medically. He was euthanized at Ohio State University this past Thursday,
the day before his fourth birthday.
He is deeply missed by everyone who ever came to know him and even the people
who only met him once or twice. I miss him and love him very much.
