Part Arabian 1991 - August 20, 2009 at 4:45 p.m. Sunshine, You are my whole world and more. I remember when I first saw you. You were beautiful. You were skin and bones, but I loved you anyways. They saved you from slaughter, and that makes me cherish you more. You were very frightened of every person when I first started taking care of you. I could tell that you wanted to trust me, but you couldn't put that wall down. I never gave up on you, and finally you could trust me. You put your life in my hands, and I took care of you to the best of my ability. You trusted me with your life and nothing would ever change it. We had a true bond of friendship, and we both knew that nothing could ever break it. You showed me what a true friendship is like and you taught me patience with you. I opened up your heart so you could love and trust again, and I was very blessed to be that person that you trusted with your life. When times got hard, I was always there with you and you knew I would be. The vets are now amazed at how you lived through being so sick for that long, but I think I know why. Our bond was truly like no other, and you fought up until the end. You didn't want to let go, and you held on until I finally decided it was the end. I miss you so much girl, and I love you with all my heart. You will be in my thoughts, my prayers and in my heart for the rest of my life. No horse will ever replace you, and no bond will ever come close to the one we had. I love you girl, and I hope you're up there waiting for me. Rest In Peace, babygirl. I'll be seein ya soon. Carli
