Spotty was one of those
"once-in-a-lifetime horses". She unexpectantly passed away from pneumonia.
She was a Pinto World Halter Champion, among many other championships, but
it was her trick horse talents that made her a real star. She entertained
and educated hundreds of children and adults alike in clinics and demos.
It's the rare trick horse that can sit flat on the ground from a stand, but
Spotty could sit down whenever asked. Many photographs of her were used
to illustrate the book, "Trick Training Your Horse To Success".
Spotty leaves behind a son and daughter who are following her hoofprints
and becoming both show and high schooled trick horses just like she was.
It was her gentle nature and patience that made her so popular with
visitors. She was the first horse that many city kids ever
touched. She will be greatly missed by her owners and her many
fans.
