Somie was my family's very
first horse. We bought her off a truck heading for the dog food factory when
she was 3 years old and I was 7. She had been horribly abused and was scared
of everything. So dangerous, in fact, that I was not allowed in a stall with
her. Back then, no one could have ever imagined how amazing her next 27 years
would be.
Here are just a few of her accomplishments:
1. Pony Club National Show
Jumping Champion
2. Pony Club Regional Dressage
Champion
3. Number of blue ribbons
won: Countless
4. Number of foals comforted
as they were weaned from their mothers: Countless
5. Number of humans taught
how to ride: Countless
6. Number of hearts touched:
COUNTLESS
Godspeed, sweet Sometime.
Thank you for being such a special part of many lives. You will be
missed!
