I knew the minute I stepped on your back that you were going to be special, a horse like no other I had ever ridden. You far exceeded my expectations. Not a day went by that you did not give me everything you had. We had a connection that could not be duplicated. We were magic. You gave me the best year of my life and I am sorry I let you down. You had a spirit like no other. To know this spirit was broken by the hands of man is something that will weigh heavy in my heart forever. You carried me true every stride. Your trust was unconditional. You were and always will be a true Champion. The buckles, awards, pictures and memories are all I have left of you. Of these, the memories are most precious. Thank you again, my faithful friend, for all the joy you gave to me. I can only find comfort in knowing your pain is no longer and you will run free at the Rainbow Bridge forever.
