Rosie was an American Quarter Horse bay mare.  She was a significant part of my life for 9 years and I will miss her so much. Rosie gave me courage and taught me patience. She, like the nature of most horses, gave me a sense of calm from simply being in her presence. We had so many great times together. I will miss her gentle nicker as I approached her at the barn, and when I called her and she came running from the pasture. Rosie lived nearly 29 years and produced 4 beautiful foals. She was beautiful, but most importantly, she was kind and brave. I appreciate so much how well she took care of my children, giving them the joy of riding without any worries. I will miss you Rosie, but remember you forever.  It will be hard to not have you with us.  You made a great impact on our lives that will live on. Thank you, Susan
