Pumpkin was my first horse. I always said that I wouldn't know what I'd
do if something ever happened to him.
I always loved telling people about him. But, unexpectedly, I found him yesterday
inside his run-in shelter. He was killed by dogs. They broke into the fence
and apparently chased him everywhere before cornering him inside the
shelter. I know he put up a good fight though. He was always a real fireball.
I know from experience the wallop of a kick he could give - so I hope he
at least gave those dogs a few injuries of their own.
I loved and still love Pumpkin so very much, with all of my heart. RIP
