She'll fly on the clouds
of heaven, and be free, like she's meant to be.
Pleasy was the first horse
I've ever owned and it was she that made me fully understand the joy of having
your own horse. It always felt to me as if she had wings, because no matter
how high we jumped, she always soared over the jumps. She was a Thoroughbred
mare which I loved to bits. On my first show with her I was so nervous, but
it ended up really great. She always did everything she could to please me.
She rarely refused a jump.
I was my totally happiest when I was with her. We were happy, she always
whinnied when she saw me, until that fateful day that I heard the news. Pleasy
was put down on 20 February 2005 because she was diagnosed with cancer.
She had a happy life, in pain maybe, but otherwise happy. She was my road
to success, I will never forget her...
My precious Pleasant
Way...forever I will love her.
Rest in Peace, my most precious one.
Of all the hours, of all the fun.
Now rest your eyes, your work is done.
I did not hear the angel call, I did not see her kiss.
Your lonely stable, your empty paddock
Is something that brings tears to my eyes.
Your whinney of happiness, your neigh of appreciation,
We shall sorely miss.
You were my road to success,
my light in the darkness.
May you enter with grace,
through the gates of heaven.
For you were my precious,
I will never forget you,
nor stop loving you.
Rest in Peace,
My precious Pleasant Way.
