Pebbles...my best friend,
my confidant, my babysitter, I miss you so.
Pebbles was an awesome horse
in a little pony body (less than 10 hands tall) that taught me SO much and
took such good care of me for all those years, it's hard to believe. I got
Pebbles for Christmas when I was 3 years old, and she never faltered in her
care with me.
She passed away when I was 21 and in college, and I missed college finals
over it! She taught all my friends, classmates in the lower grades, and several
nieces and nephews all about pony care and riding - with the patience of
a saint! I know I've got a pony angel watching over me with her gone over
the rainbow bridge. It gives me ease to know she's waiting for me.
