Mishka was the most beautiful and loving mare I could have asked for. She was rescued from an abusive home 4 years ago, and in that time, I came to love her so very dearly, we taught each other, that it's okay to trust again.
I miss her so much, and wish everyday she would come back. But her need to be put to sleep was far greater than my need to keep her with me. I can't thank her enough for healing my heart the way she did, for teaching me how to love selflessly and foremost, for giving me a friendship so pure and true.
God bless my beautiful girl, you are missed so much. I thank you for all the weeks, days, hours, minutes, right down to the seconds that you gave me! You will hold a place in my heart always.
