Clydesdale/TB 21 years old Passed on December 5, 2012 Minnie Magnus, I wish you would stay young and pain-free forever but we know that's not possible. Many times Mommy, always alpha but kind and gentle. My babysitter - big enough to carry the most timid adult beginner and generous enough not to take advantage of the smallest child. The thankless jobs of weddings, birthday parties, parades, commercial trail rides for the public (even with a foal trotting by your side). So often the anchor position providing reassurance to a frightened youngster in the double hitch. Logging, riding lessons, even a little jumping! The horse that people tied by the reins and you would be found standing respectfully, hours later. The one whose feathered feet I must have shaved a hundred times, including on my hands and knees while 9 months pregnant. Always loved and appreciated, but like all wonderful horses, we most surely took your kindness for granted. Your beautiful equine soul still happy and willing in an old body.  We love you and miss you. Teri
