I bought her as a yearling, never dreaming the huge heart that was
within that spotted coat. I found out just how smart and kind she was, the
day a friend was here with her two handicapped children. The girls turned
up missing, we found them wrapped around Megan's front legs. I knew then
just what heart was there, it was almost like the wisdom of all the horses
who had ever lived was there in that sweet and loving face.
After all these years I
still miss you sweet girl, but I understand God needed an angel and
since you were one on earth, he took you to live beside him in heaven. You
are free of pain now. You still live on in our hearts.
