Lucky was a 33 year old Arabian
Quarter Horse cross who had a severe case of colic. He died on his own on
Sunday, November 7, 2004 surrounded by the three girls that loved him the
most.
Lucky was my best friend. He was the one I went to when Lacey died, and he
was the one I could always talk to when things were rough. Lucky loved me
no matter what I did, he was always there for me. He protected me from getting
kicked by the ponies by putting himself between me and the ponies. When I
would fall off, he would wait to move until I got up so then he wouldn't
step on me, and then when I would get up, he would come over and nuzzle me
all over to make sure I wasn't hurt.
Lucky and I had a bond that I could not have with anyone else. He was the
only one I could truly trust. Lucky was my best friend, my protector, and
the love of my life.
