Appaloosa mare 21 years old Passed January 26, 2011 after a short illness   Ladybird was my first horse and gave me so much; we were a real partnership. She tolerated my fumblings as I learned how to take care of her and ride her. We both loved to ride out on the trails and enjoy the peace. Ladybird was wonderful therapy for me and I hope that in letting her go, I gave her what she in the end deserved: release from her suffering and the start of a new adventure for her. Elaine
