Dear Kish,
You left me that day and my time with you came to an end, but even though the days of me seeing your lovely face, your golden coat, and your flaxen mane are gone, and I'll no longer be able to run my fingers through your plush coat and gallop with you down never-ending roads of greenery, even though the sun has set on those blissful days, the days of your spirit infusing me with pleasant memories and reminding me of happiness are far from over.
You lived long and you saw many things. You met many people, and not all of them were kind people. But being the strong horse you are, you overcame that.
Seeing you was a daily pleasure, and remembering you will be nothing less. I love you and Penny and Spy, your herdmates, love you too.
Don't worry about us, sweet girl. You did your job. Now it's time for you to rest. You earned it. I just hope to see you again someday.
