"A proud and noble mare"...for my beautiful beloved companion and partner.
God sends His gifts in many forms. It is for us to recognize them. Beloved K-lee, my precious gift, she restored my belief in dreams coming true, in unconditional love, in loyality.
Always , she is my gift. For 18 years she carried me, in times of joy, in sorrows and at times in darkness. Always she was there giving to me. Now I will carry her in my mind and in our wonderful memories. Until K-lee we ride again, always!
Every river, every trail, brings her to me. Such memories, such joy. This girl was very smart, she knew what I wanted before I did. She would do anything to please you but just don't ever try to force an issue, you would never win!
When I took a spill, her face said it all, she would stand, look at me and the look said, "Just what are you doing on the ground!".
Best of all she had a way of holding you between her neck and head..those hugs felt like heaven.
Other than eating, I think her favorite thing was plowing along some deer trail, she would be so excited.
One of my favorite memories is on an early morning hack we were cantering along on a logging road and our shadow was running along just ahead of us to the right..seeing that, us moving as one, breathtaking!!
