Gus was my horse of a lifetime.
He came to me in a time in my life that I was very insecure and depressed.
He taught me confidence. He taught me how wonderful riding could be after
developing a very bad back. I was always safe with him.
He was my soulmate and will be till the end of eternity. He was so very kind
and mellow. He put his large head on my shoulder the day before he died and
wiggled his lips on me though he was blind and in pain.
I miss him so. Gus, wait for me in heaven, my beloved.
