Grandee

Another Grand
Thoroughbred gelding
1979 - November 7, 2004

My Grandee, my special boy.  When I met you, you were someone else's, but she left you.  I started looking after you in 1996 and you quickly found your place in my heart.

You were a sweet, gentle horse who needed someone to love him. It meant so much to be needed, you were my baby.  You were my cuddly boy, and always made me laugh.  You needed so much care, but I was happy to care for you.  Bessie always looked after you too. I used to make up little songs about you, and sing them to you on the yard.

My step-uncle told me it would break my heart to lose you, and it did.  I still think of you every day, you meant the world to me and I often dream of you, and that we are back together with Bessie, the three of us, our little family. One happy day that dream will come true, and I will be complete again.

Love You Always,
Mummy xxx (Alison)
