R Golden Promise

March 20, 1990 - March 28, 2014 |
And so it goes, as time keeps marching on, our family said our good byes to our Golden boy that lived with us for 17 years, on March 28, 2014 at Michigan State University. We were all with him as he left us.
Our hearts are broken but we have many “Golden Moment Memories” with our little Goldilocks, as I would affectionately call him or call him when he was being ornery. He was half Arabian and half Quarter horse. He went in a few parades with us and was a very versatile 4-H horse for our two daughters, Nicki and Rachel for many years and he also was my trail horse. He was basically retired and made a beautiful lawn ornament for the last 5 years with an occasional and causal trail ride a few times a year.
We love and miss you very much, Gold! I hope we are all reunited one fine day!
