Coolie

14 November 1980 - 10 March 2006

My beloved Coolaba Gold, "Coolie", was a first cross Quarter Horse gelding, standing at 15.3hh. A wonderful companion and part of our family for over 18 years. He tragically developed cancer in his jaw during his 25th year, which eventually grew too large and made it too difficult for him to graze. I had to make that awful decision to have him put down - one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make. Even though it has been well over a year, I still think of him daily and mourn his passing.

Coolie was my 14th birthday present - the greatest gift I've ever received. He's irreplacable and was the last horse I ever rode.

I miss you, Uncle Cools.
