Cinnamon came to us
after we were looking for a horse for my daughter to ride with me. She outgrew
her pony.
She was happy that she had a horse the she could have fun with
and, boy, that horse could run. We had her a year, then we found out that
she had moon blindness. We had to keep her on meds for it.
She loved us and loved her playmates. But when we lost Bud, he was her eyes
when she had a bad spell. The last year of her life, she was blind and did
not get a winter coat. There was more wrong then we knew. But she loved us
as I loved her.
My daughter gave her to me after she got a bigger horse as she outgrew her.
She was only 14.5hh.
During Cinnamon's last year with me, she was free to play as she wanted.
She pulled us out of the hard times of losing Bud and Lacie. For what she
saw, I don't know if she was able to heal.
