Chancey Sockett

My gelding's name was Chancey Sockett. He was born on January 10, 2000. He died on January 5, 2004.

He was a breeding stock grey horse by World Champion Dr. Sockett.
I named him Chance because I saw him at a horse sale and he looked awful, skinny, dull and neglected. I paid $150 for him and fed, trained and loved him. He was a wonderful horse with smooth gaits and a funny personality.

The day he died I had ridden him and everything was fine, he felt good and seemed happy. Somehow, he twisted his colon and had to be euthanized.
