No heaven can heaven be, if my horse isn't there to welcome me.

My dear little one, I miss you so much already. I am lost not being able to help care for you.

You brightened my days with your soft kisses, even with your mashy and Koolaid water all over them. Your mane and tail were like the finest silk. Your eyes of hazel so wonderful to see.

I had to make a very hard decision and I hope you somehow understand why I set you free to run in the finest pastures with everything you need. You are so very loved by your two moms and dads. We are all so very lost without you. Our time together was too short, but that doesn't make it any less valuble. You taught me so much in such a short time.

I know Ms. Destiny misses you too. Hopefully I can repay her somehow for showing you how to be a little horse, something us humans can't do very well. You gave her hope and a reason to fight on through her own illness. She showed us how great a mother she is.

I know someday I will see you again. In your name and honor I will try and become the friend that any horse would love to have.

Run free my little one. You will finally know what it is like to fly.

Love,
Marybeth and Brian
