My Sweet Handsome Boy,
Words cannot express how thankful I am to have had you in my life for 14 years. Taking that walk with you to your resting place was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. You knew where you were going and you were okay with it. It was time and you've had 34 wonderful years in this life filled with many people who loved you!
As I held your hoof as you made your journey over to greener pastures, I could see the pain being lifted away. I love you, my big handsome man. Mommy is only a thought away, whenever you want to come see me, I am here for you.
I hope you found the highest mountain and ran as fast as you could up it like you said you were going to do. I hope the white bird came to meet you and fly with you to that special place we talked about.
I will love you forever and ever. You will always be the most handsome horse in the barn! Give kisses to Quigley for me. Until we meet again, you are in my heart always. I love you.
