Arrow was a good horse. He
was loyal and friendly and curious about everything. I received him in March
of 2003 and we became best friends.
I still remember the day he found out what an electric fence was...while
I was on him. I thought for sure I'd died. He never went near that section
of fencing ever again.
We used to play tag. I'd
chase him around until he got sick of it and run after me. Once he caught
up he'd buck and kick and run the opposite direction. He was careful
never to hit or bump me. He never once hurt me purposely. Though he once
lifted a small girl up by her sweater.
And he learned how to drink coke out of a can. But he liked orange
soda more.
I miss him and will love
him forever.
