Ari was a gift from God. He was a life-altering force for me. I got him when he was 9 years old and we were constant companions for the next 19 years.
He was a rescue and was in pretty bad shape, even the vet did not want to pass him. But I took a chance and no doubt, it was the right one.
I started him under saddle after about six months of ground work and 250 lbs. He was very much aware that he was a rescue as he was always willing to please. He never once hurt me in the 20 years we were together.
On the day he passed, my heart was broken into a million pieces and has been since. I am forced to move on but how I do not know. There will never be another like him, at least in my life.
He was so special and I am so grateful that I was able to share my life with him. I love you “Mr. Booder Man”. Happy Trails to you until we meet again…I love you.
